The first private university in Sohag Governorate is preparing to receive students for the next academic year October 2020

The university includes 11 faculties for which a presidential decree was issued, and the faculties of human medicine and natural therapy will start from the next academic year.

The President issued a republican decree to establish the university in January 2019 after Merritt obtained at winning with an Australian university ranked 49th in the world and another with the American University of Source, in implementation of his directives not to extract any licenses for new universities to work in Egypt without obtaining a twinning with one of the 50 best universities at the level of the world.
