Loading tests on the body of the West Corniche Bridge – loads with transport vehicles loaded with steel reinforcement weighing 84 tons – the loading is done in critical places for the bridge elements (slabs – beams – shoulders) and the loading continues for a specific period of time and in a specific loading manner, and the readings are taken with digital measuring devices affixed to the bridge body.

The loading took place in the specified places where maximum internal forces are obtained in the bridge body, according to the Egyptian code for bridges.

– The deflection and strains of the bridge body as a result of the loads on it are measured and compared with the mathematical values with the permittivity according to the specifications, and it should not exceed what is permissible.

Praise be to God. All tests were successful on the Corniche Bridge, and it proved its bearing of the designed loads along the bridge path.
